Ilumen was conceived, recorded and assembled over a two-
year period. Its main instrument is the Chrysalide, a modular
synthesizer, occasionally interfaced with a computer and a
bass guitar. The album centres on the 13-minute title track
which is bracketed by six shorter compositions.
Eryck Abecassis is a composer based in Paris.
